Fish & Chips

Turned Out Crispier Than Expected!

I never thought my first attempt at making battered fish would turn out this good — and it was super easy! 🐟✨🍟

Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. Michael asked for seconds!

I used frozen pangasius fillets from the market — thawed and patted them dry before coating.

Here’s how I made them so crispy and saved the day. 😄

→ First, coat the fish with all-purpose flour

→ Then dip it in beaten egg

→ Finally, coat with breadcrumbs

I fried them over medium-high heat, using just enough oil to cover half of each fillet. I cooked one side at a time for about 3–4 minutes. lightly seasoned with a lemon squeeze.

The perfect golden crispiness without soaking up oil. That crunch? Heaven. Healthy enough for me, I’d say. 🍴✨

Panko flakes = texture goals. Served it with air-fried french fries. It just hits us right. 🔥🐟

Side dish with homemade coleslaw. The perfect balance! We left no crumbs. 💜😋
